By Camden
We had an early extra recess! We made a book about the butterfly's life cycle. They start out as an egg. When they hatch, they eat leaves and more leaves and more leaves. Then they got to be a fat caterpillar, then they spin their self into a cocoon or chrysalis. Then after a few weeks, they turn into butterflies! The difference between the moth and a butterfly is when the moth rests it's wings are down. When a butterfly rests, it's wings are up! Butterflies have skinny bodies with no hair and moths have fat hairy bodies. We worked on number 7 for math. At snack, we watched The Hungry Caterpillar. Our caterpillars changed into cocoons and we put them in the container thing. Now we're waiting for them to turn into butterflies! Hope tomorrow we have good weather too!
