Playing an adding game with small numbers to increase our fluency (how fast we can solve the equations).

We had to roll the dice and say the number sentence that went with it - example 2+3=5

The person with the highest answer put a block on their ten frame.  The person that got 10 first was the winner!

What can a windsock tell us about the wind?

I had a great day!  We went outside to test out our windsocks.  We found out that it was going right and left in the wind.  The wind was blowing it the same direction.  We went to gym.  We went to art.  We did daily 5.  I went to listen to reading, read to someone and with Mrs. Boehm.  We had math.  We played a game.  We rolled the dice and said the number sentence.  Then whoever gets the bigger number gets a block.  Whoever gets all of them on is the winner.  We went to recess.  We need to bring a hard boiled egg tomorrow!  I will see you tomorrow!
