Our pumpkin science experiment yesterday!

What happened when we added water, soap, baking soda and...

vinegar to the pumpkin?

WOW!  It erupted!

Check out the bulldog that joined us for lunch!

And some more grandparents!  What a fun week we had!

What a young grandparent!  Just kidding!  Paige's mom helped serve in the cafeteria! :)

Learning about the seasons of the apple tree!

See if I can tell you about how the tree changes throughout the seasons!

Using our recycled 3D shapes to design... a haunted house!  Spooky!

A couple of notes from Mrs. Haas...
Monday, please bring your library books and little books!  Please also wear red!  We will be learning about the Chinese New Year on Monday at an all school assembly.  Have a great weekend!

I had a great day!  I was the calendar helper!  We did a new daily 5!  It was called word work.  I had to write words!  I practice writing them so I get better and better!  I had to look at the tree today.  The leaves were falling off.  We had to make seasons of trees.  We made winter, we made fall and spring.  Good bye and I'll see you after tomorrow!

Hi everyone! Your class always seems to get so much done - how do you fit in all of those fun things each day? The rectangle boxes we brought from home look like they are being put to good use. I hope Paige's mom had as much fun as I did helping in the cafeteria this week. Thanks for showing us the oozing pumpkin. Gross-- but still pretty cool.
