I had a great day! I played at writing center and I made a monster for the haunted house!! We looked at what shapes the leaves might be. Upside down heart, paddle, straight line, triangle, spear, oval. I made a pumpkin a graph of how many steps it takes for a pumpkin to grow. It becomes a pumpkin and then you carve it and take all the guts out and it becomes a jack-o-lantern. We matched up the shapes with the leaves. We traced some leaves. We made an entry in our science journals. I went to work on writing and read to self during daily 5. Goodbye, see you tomorrow!!
