We had a great, awesome, exciting, exciting day! We learned a little bit about chickens. Chickens lay eggs, then they hatch in 21 days. Then they are kind of adult chickens. Then in 3 months they are adult chickens. We did keyboarding. We did the letter Ss. We colored city things and country things. We had to cut them out, then we glued them on to a giant orange piece of paper. We wrote which is the city, which is the country and then we glued them on which is the city and which is the country. We used pan balances again in math. We picked 2 things from somewhere in the classroom that are small and then we weighed them on the pan balance. When we were done weighing a couple things, then we tried to find things that weighed the same and then we wrote it on a piece of paper. We read a book called, The Cow Buzzed. We had a exciting, fun, fun, fun day!

You kids will be ready for the farm after learning so much about farm animals. I'm excited to go along on your field trip tomorrow! Our family goes there every year and has so much fun! We would see baby animals such as: goats, pigs, kittens, chicks and bunnies.
