We had a beautiful, spectacular day!! We had Daily 5. I did Read to Someone with June and it was fun. The butterflies in the net started waking up! Two were born from the chrysallis sacks. Our class planted three seeds each in a cup with Mrs. Menzies. I hope they grow. The carnations in the colored water from yesterday are not turning yet. We went to the computer lab and played games with our third grade buddies. I played the snail game. We learned that plants need air, water, sun and soil to grow. If they don't get even one of those things, they will die. I was the first one to go out in the hall and work with Mrs. Haas on PALS and I did some first grade work. We had a great day! Tomorrow Mrs. Menzies will be back and Mrs. Haas will do PALS again.

How cool that the butterflies are waking up. Nature is a very beautiful thing. Good luck everyone on PALS. What kind of seeds did you plant? Hope you are all enjoying the great weather we are having. Love you Cody.
