We had a fun day! We wrote in our journals about pizza! I liked pizza with cheese, pepperoni, and that's it. We went to Crossroads! We made our own pizza! We looked at the ovens. We went in the freezer, it was cold in there! You put the pizza dough into a machine and it twisted it around and you catched it! Then we ate our pizza, it was good! We talked about healthy food. We learned about the different kinds of food like fruit, vegetables, dairy and grains. We had a fun day!

Wow--what a fun field trip! Your pizzas look so yummy! You are all such talented pizza chefs! How fun to make your own nutritious lunch with healthy ingredients, including tomato sauce from the vegetable group and cheese from the dairy group. (I like my pizza with vegetable toppings, like sliced mushrooms, red pepper strips and ripe olives--they're colorful and good-for-you!) I'm so glad you had a fun day! Enjoy the snow!
