We wrote in our journals. I wrote about McDonald's! This morning we did a lot of turkey things! Gobble, gobble! Then we talked about life long ago and the Indians and Pilgrims. They wore skirts and clothes that were different than we wear now. We have different houses too. They had to make their food, they made their butter. WE TRIED TO MAKE BUTTER! It was good!!! We shake the bottle and pass it around and everybody got a turn to shake the bottle and then we put it on our crackers. We ate them!!! They were yummy!! Mrs. Haas says here's the recipe: put heavy whipping cream and some salt into a glass container and SHAKE for a long time. Mrs. Boehm is gonna have some surgery and she's gonna stay there until after Christmas. We're gonna have Mrs. Phillips. We're gonna try to earn some money for Mrs. Boehm by cleaning the house. We want to give her some money so she doesn't have to make dinner. I saw Mrs. Haas at McDonald's! Happy Pumpkins!

I think it's awesome that you guys learned to make butter! My teacher taught us how to do that when I was in third grade and I still remember how yummy it was --- and how LONG we had to shake, shake, shake that bottle!
