Yesterday Mrs. Haas wasn't here.  We read another Harold and the Purple Crayon book.  The book was called Harold Goes to the Sky.  We read the Jigaree.  It was funny because every single time it had "following me" and it had action words.  We made a project and we had to cut out our own Jigaree that Mrs. Haas gave us and then we had to draw a picture of an action word.  Then you were supposed to draw a picture of the Jigaree doing the action word after you.  In math we did adding and subtracting.  We learned about a new coin, it was the dime.  It has Franklin Roosevelt on the heads side and a torch and some branches on the back.  Tomorrow is a short day (1:00) and it is slipper day.  Valentine's Day is coming up!
