We had a big parade in the hall. We had to wear red. It was for Chinese New Year. You had to get under the dragon thing and you had to walk in the hallway! The lion things were a little bit scary! :) We had music too! We got chocolate coins and a fortune cookie! We made a dragon. We did a parade in the other classroom and they did a parade in our room. We did this game in math. It was the raft game. You have to roll the dice and you got beans. You had to trade when you got 5 and you tried to get the raft (25) and you got to give a bear a ride if you get 5 sticks to trade for the raft. (Sounds confusing but the kids did great - prepares them for place value!) We played with a partner. Have fun ladybug!

The Chinese parade looks wonderful. You must have learned so much and really enjoyed it. You all work so hard but also have lots of fun. That snowball you made is huge!!!!
